Best piece of advice to home buyers in 2024:
Interview your agent before you hire them! The real estate market has changed A LOT in the past 5 years. It’s important to hire an agent not only with experience but hyper local knowledge of the towns you want to be in. Ask them how many transactions they have done in the past year? They should understand the nuances of each town and have the established connections with realtors and should be a resource to you for schools, town information, pricing, contractors, attorneys, etc. Your agent should be doing the leg work for you and understand the lifestyle you are trying to achieve. Getting your offer accepted these days has become somewhat of an art form and can sometimes feel like winning the lottery. There are different strategies your agent should know to ultimately put you in a position to be the winning bid. Trust in your agent to know pricing and expect them to deliver you results. P.S Ask for references or google them, their reviews should say it all!
Best piece of advice to home sellers in 2024:
First and foremost Congratulations! Not all agents are the same. Yes, it’s true anyone can sell your home-even you can sell your own home, BUT for how much? Sellers need to understand not all agents offer the same services and even in a seller’s market there are strategies we use to net you the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time. Your home is one of your biggest assets and money should not be left on the table. Hire an agent with a proven track record of results. P.S Ask for references or google them, their reviews should say it all!
