The 48th Annual Ridgewood Run

Run (or walk) in this beloved Memorial Day tradition (there’s still time to sign up) or simply line the streets to cheer on those participating! Either way, it’s a fabulous way to honor the spirit of the weekend.

Memorial Day Service at Van Neste Park

Date: Monday, May 26, 2025

Location: Van Neste Park, Ridgewood, NJ
Hosted by: Ridgewood American Legion Post 53
Details: A solemn ceremony to honor fallen military personnel. The public is invited to attend and participate in this tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Date: Graydon officially opens on May 31, 2025!
Details: Graydon Pool, a manmade sandy beachfront (but chlorinated) oasis is your home for a fun summer!

Located in the heart of town, Graydon days are like playdates with your neighbors and friends every day.
Graydon Pool has a sand beachfront throughout the facility and features an accessibility ramp for entry into the water for those requiring assistance, spray fountains in the fenced-in Kiddie area, Adirondack chairs, shade systems, picnic area with tables, charcoal grills, and a sheltered pavilion, a playground with sitting area, volleyball and basketball courts and Wi-Fi accessibility.
Graydon Pool is also home to the Waters’ Edge Cafe concession stand. Open daily (weather permitting) at noon. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
Swim lessons, competitive swim teams, and events for kids and adults like paddle-boarding classes and storytimes are also offered to members.

Ridgewood Duck Pond
The Saddle River County Wild Duck Pond is the beginning of a shaded bike and running trail, plus there is a fabulous playground, dog park, and walking loop to watch the ducks in this newly refurbished county park.
