David Gubb recently helped us find our dream home and we simply couldn’t say enough positive things about our experience buying a home in Ridgewood with him. As relative newbies to the area (one of us moving back to the area after several years of living abroad and the other moving to the U.S. for the first time), Dave was an insightful repository of helpful information on the village of Ridgewood and its neighborhoods. He toured us around, educated us, and was patient with us as we figured out what we wanted. Dave very quickly developed a keen sense of what would make us happy. Once we found “the home,” he moved mountains to make it happen. There were endless hiccups along the way (unrelated to us), but Dave guided us through the bumpy process, calmed us down when we got frustrated, and ultimately got us to the finish line. His advice was thoughtful throughout and he always made himself available to speak to us at a moment’s notice, whether morning, day or night. We certainly hope we don’t have to buy or sell a home again any time soon, but we wouldn’t think twice about using Dave or recommending him to any of our friends or family. Beyond being excellent at his job, he’s also a genuinely nice person who was an absolute pleasure to work with and someone we look forward to seeing around town in the future.
